The Cardiogeriatrics course empowers doctors with knowledge about the characteristics of the aging of the cardiovascular system, as well as the most common cardiovascular diseases in the elderly population. The specialization brings together a highly qualified faculty, unique practical experience in the market and a diploma from the largest hospital complex

in Latin America.

Aimed at doctors who wish to improve their skills in Cardiogeriatrics, the course fosters the connection between Geriatrics and Cardiology. It also meets a growing demand, given the growth in the number of Brazilians over 65 and the need for qualified professionals to provide assistance to

this public.

There are almost 500 hours of excellent teaching, with theoretical classes taught by leading specialists from the Hospital das Clínicas da USP (HCFMUSP) and practical activities at reference centers in Geriatrics. At the end of the course, the doctor is more prepared to provide assistance to elderly patients with heart disease, both in primary and secondary prevention
