The Extracorporeal Circulation Specialization qualifies professionals with excellent knowledge to act as a perfusionist, in cardiac surgery and in mechanical circulatory assistance. are more than 1,800 hours of postgraduate studies, with theoretical classes taught by leading specialists, and practice at the renowned Heart Institute (Incor HCFMUSP). During the course, Nursing, Biomedicine, Biology, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy professionals will have the opportunity to closely monitor various heart and lung surgeries, in addition to participating in research projects

Upon completing the specialization, the student is more prepared for the market, with the necessary competencies and abilities to act as a perfusionist.
