The Specialization in Extracorporeal Circulation qualifies professionals with excellent knowledge to work as perfusionists, in cardiac surgeries and in mechanical circulatory assistance. The course brings together a highly qualified faculty, unique practical experience and the quality of one of the largest cardiology centers in the world.

There are more than 1,800 hours of postgraduate studies, with theoretical classes taught by leading specialists, and practical classes at the renowned Heart Institute (Incor HCFMUSP). During the course, professionals from Nursing, Biomedicine, Biology, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy will have the opportunity to closely monitor several heart and lung surgeries, in addition to participating in research projects.

Upon completing the specialization, the student leaves better prepared for the market, with the skills and abilities necessary to work as a perfusionist.
