The Specialization in Extracorporeal Circulation qualifies professionals with excellent knowledge to work as perfusionists, in cardiac surgeries and in mechanical circulatory assistance. There are more than 1,800 hours of postgraduate studies, with theoretical classes taught by leading specialists, and practical classes at the renowned Heart Institute (Incor HCFMUSP). During the course, professionals from Nursing, Biomedicine, Biology, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy will have the opportunity to closely monitor several heart and lung surgeries, in addition to participating in research projects.
