The Specialization in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy in General Admission and Intensive Care Units at HCFMUSP was developed to train physiotherapists for the evaluation and care of patients with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, with an emphasis on hospital practice and intensive care.

The training integrates theoretical knowledge and supervised practical training in service, allowing the student to deepen their knowledge and develop competencies for physiotherapeutic assistance to cardiopath and pneumopath patients at different levels of complexity.

Throughout the course, students will have contact with in-depth clinical evaluation, individualized therapeutic protocols and strategies, advanced techniques and resources of cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, as well as practical experiences in general admission and intensive care units.

Practical activities are carried out in a supervised manner, providing an experience close to the professional routine and allowing the application of knowledge acquired in theoretical disciplines.
