Mental Health First Aid Training
Based on scientific evidence and international practices, the mental health first aid guidelines aim to teach mental health first aid to the general population, enabling them to recognize and offer support to people with mental health problems.
By becoming a mental health first responder, a caregiver will be able to identify signs and symptoms of possible diagnoses and offer emotional support in times of crisis.
Important Note:
Participation in this training does not authorize the professional to perform diagnoses, interpret exams, or issue medical reports and opinions. The objective of the multidisciplinary training is to provide informational support to assist specialized decision-making. The skills acquired during the course do not replace or interfere with the exclusive duties of the physician.
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of training in Mental Health First Aid guidelines for emergency situations.
