The Advanced Training Program in Complex Wounds of Plastic Surgery – HCFMUSP is an in-person training aimed at doctors and nurses who wish to deepen their knowledge in the management of complex wounds in one of the largest university hospitals in Latin America.
With a duration of three months and a workload of 40 hours in person, the program provides a longitudinal learning experience, allowing participants to follow different stages of the assistance provided by the Wound Group of the Plastic Surgery Discipline of HCFMUSP.
Activities include observational monitoring in the surgical center, specialized wound clinics, burn unit, multidisciplinary visits, stomatherapy clinic, discussion of clinical cases, critical analysis of scientific literature, and practical workshop on Negative Pressure Therapy (NPWT).
