ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

The ACLS course provides healthcare professionals with excellent learning on the actions to recognize and intervene in cardiorespiratory arrest in adults, as well as post-resuscitation care, treatment of arrhythmias in the emergency room and initial treatment of Stroke and Acute Coronary Syndrome.

There are 16 hours of classes, with practices supervised by leading experts and certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). During the training, the importance of high-quality CPR is emphasized, as well as leadership of a resuscitation team.

At the end of the course, doctors, 6th year medical students (11th and 12th periods), nurses and final year nursing students will have more knowledge to make a difference in the face of CPA and cardiovascular emergencies.
